DC revealed some of the new covers & logos for the New 52, coming next month….I find myself wondering what they were thinking, though. The Wonder Woman logo is simply atrocious - maybe they were going for the metallic sheen off her new, pole dancer costume? and I grok Batman & his city are grunge central, but seriously, they used enough grunge texture for the new logo to give Alfred palpitations. What’s wrong with the classics? Action has a contemporary feel, but it’s still recognizable & well done.

I’m still highly skeptical about this whole New 52 undertaking, but I’ll try to keep an open mind. And at least they let Jim Lee do the promo poster, so everyone looks like they just spent a week at the spa, getting ready for their closeups.
